Strength coach · Utah
I'm Dalton. I coach strength.
Most of what I do is teach: how to lift well, how to eat without a meal plan, and how to keep training when life gets busy. Tell me a little about where you are, and I'll point you somewhere sensible to start.
Let's start with one question.
What would you most like to change?
- Lose fat
- Get stronger
- Move without pain
- Perform better in my sport
- Stay strong as I get older
- I'm not sure yet

How I coach
My job is to make myself unnecessary.
I explain the reasoning behind every set, because I'd like you to be able to write your own program one day. Technique comes before load, and progress gets written down, so it's a number that moved rather than a feeling.
I'd rather you train twice a week for a year than four times a week for a month. And I won't sell you on fear, or on a supplement.

Things worth understanding
I'd rather you understand your training than just follow it. These are the plain explanations I find myself giving most often. Read whatever's useful; skip whatever isn't.

When you'd rather not do it alone
Sometimes it helps to have someone in the room. If you'd like to work together, it starts with a short conversation about what you want, and whether I'm the right person to help.
